Harry Potter: 24 Funniest Quotes
The Harry Potter franchise is home to plenty of humorous quotes that still make fans laugh to this day.
It is also a great showcase for many young up-and-coming voice actors, with most of the students having separate actors, one for the first three books, and then another for the last four books. Cash Jumbo also acts as an anchor from start to finish, narrating all the magical descriptions and Harry's inner thoughts with gravitas.
Main Cast & Characters For The Harry Potter Full-Cast Audio Books
For the most part, the characters and their voice actors are listed below by how many times they are mentioned in the books. However, some characters lower down on the list may star in particular books, with Gilderoy Lockhart being the perfect example, and as he never stops talking, Kit Harrington got to have lots of fun in The Chamber of Secrets.
There are a few unknowns which have not been included. For example, it can presumed that some of the other child actors will switch for the fourth book and beyond.

Films & Shows To Watch To See The New Harry Potter Cast
To see more of the new Harry Potter cast on HBO, fans should check out these TV shows and movies.
Harry Potter
Frankie Treadaway & Jaxon Knopf
Aside from the narrator, Cash Jumbo, nobody has a bigger role than the one bestowed upon Frankie Treadaway and Jaxon Knopf. They step into the shoes of The Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter himself, with Frankie starring in the first three audiobooks, before handing the proverbial baton to Jaxon for the rest of the series.
While only snippets exist of Jaxon's performance, Frankie Treadaway is already off to an incredible start, giving a heartfelt portrayal with hints of the sassiness to come that book readers love so much.
Ron Weasley
Max Lester & Rhys Mulligan
Ron Weasley and the rest of his family are all from Devon, and as such are portrayed with a West Country twang. For the first three books, Max Lester plays Harry's steadfast friend before Rhys Mulligan takes over for The Goblet of Fire and the rest of the series.
In the two audiobooks released so far, Max Lester has been brilliant, with many scenes highlighting why Ron is a much better character in the books than he was in the films, where he was mainly used for comic relief. Neither of these two young actors appears to have been in much else so far, so this could perhaps be the perfect kick-off to their acting careers.
Hermione Granger
Arabella Stanton & Nina Barker-Francis
Interestingly, and perhaps for good reason given her performance and natural fit, Arabella Stanton is in a unique position, having been cast as Hermione Granger in both the full-cast audiobooks and the upcoming HBO Harry Potter TV show. It only takes one line of dialogue to realize that she is the perfect Hermione.
Following on from Arabella, Nina Barker-Francis will then take over for the last four books in the series, playing an older Hermione. Having acted in a number of shows, such as Wolf King, The Jetty, and even a brief appearance in House of the Dragon, fans can catch a glimpse of what to expect.
Albus Dumbledore
Hugh Laurie
Hugh Laurie is easily one of the biggest names on an enviable cast list for the Potter audiobooks, and he joins an ever-growing group of actors to have portrayed Albus Dumbledore. The House star plays a calm and book-accurate Dumbledore, who is unlikely to shout at Harry for putting his name in the Goblet of Fire.
He also has a link to an older version of the audiobooks, as he and Stephen Fry had their own show, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, which aired during the time when young Harry was growing up and attending Hogwarts.
Rubeus Hagrid
Mark Addy
Mark Addy, perhaps best known for his portrayal of Robert Baratheon in Game of Thrones, lends his booming voice to Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter audiobooks and arguably steals the show. His version of the friendly half-giant is more assertive, jolly, and yet fierce to those who offend the likes of Dumbledore and Harry.
Playing a major role in each of the seven books, fans will get to hear plenty of Mark Addy as Harry, Ron, and Hermione are frequent visitors to the gamekeeper's hut.
The Best Harry Potter Games Of All Time
Even though Harry Potter games tend to be extremely hit-or-miss, a few releases capture the magic of the books, movies, and the overall universe.
