The catch is that it's a Halo book, not a game, so fans will have to engage with a different medium to find out what happens to Master Chief next. Halo: Edge of Dawn's existence as a Master Chief Story from author Kelly Gay was actually confirmed back in January, but this latest development finally confirms that it will take place in the wake of Halo Infinite's story. The synopsis confirms that the book will focus on Master Chief seeking "the key to unlocking deeper mysteries within this ancient ringworld" on Zeta Halo.
