A lot of players have enjoyed Halo Infinite since it launched last year, specifically its campaign. Horror movie director John Carpenter even stated that Halo Infinite was the best in the series. However, this doesn't mean that players haven't also found a lot to criticize within the game and have consistently pointed out its problems following its launch.From plenty of bugs to missing game modes, Halo Infinite has had a slew of issues since it first released. However, with updates being released by 343 and Xbox, Halo Infinite has improved steadily over time, introducing Forge mode to the game, adding extra events, and more. According to screenshots posted by Bathrobe Spartan, Halo Infinite's battle royale will include an intro, deployment, and release phase, similarly to other titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone. Also, a statement from another Halo insider, Ains, alleges that the battle royale mode could be with fans in mid-2023, coinciding with the release of the game's fourth season.

As this has not been confirmed by 343 or Xbox, these details around the potential release of Halo Infinite's battle royale should be taken with a pinch of salt. Should these details prove to be true, it seems that the game mode will be similar to a lot of other popular battle royales, but there will be some key differences. Namely, Halo Infinite will allow for a loadout to be taken into Tatanka when a player drops, unlike other titles where they have to scavenge for weapons along the way.

Previously, there was a rumor circulating that Halo Infinite's Tatanka game mode had been in development since 2020, and if this is the case, hopefully it means that the battle royale will release in a more polished state than the original game's multiplayer. There is still plenty of time before the game mode's potential release though, as Halo Infinite has yet to launch its third season.
