This year, Universal Studios is bringing Five Nights at Freddy's to the Halloween Horror Nights 2025. Halloween Horror Nights is a traditional event that Universal Studios has held every year since 1991, and it has become one of the most anticipated events for theme park fans. Fans are even more excited after learning that one of the most highly anticipated horror franchises will finally be included.

In 2024, Universal once again joined forces with Blumhouse for Halloween Horror Nights, featuring a scare zone dedicated to a few Blumhouse horror movie franchises at Universal Studios Orlando. There were many rumors that Five Nights at Freddy's would be among the included series last year, but Blumhouse brought The Purge, Freaky, M3GAN, The Black Phone, and Happy Death Day instead. Since the independent movie company has collaborated with Halloween Horror Nights for several years, fans were confident that Five Nights at Freddy's would eventually be included. Luckily, it's finally happening this year, but perhaps in a different way than expected.

The official Halloween Horror Nights account on X (formerly Twitter) has recently confirmed that the franchise will be featured at both the Hollywood and Orlando parks. It's still June, so more details will be shared in the future, but they have already teased that the franchise will be featured at the event "in a whole new way." Fans should keep an eye on the official accounts and website to learn more about Halloween Horror Nights 2025.

Will There Be a FNaF Haunted House?

Fans are already speculating that there will be a haunted house/maze for Five Nights at Freddy's at this year's Halloween Horror Nights, which makes sense given the franchise's popularity and potential. The official account has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors, but since they have announced that this collaboration will be "in a whole new way," they could have something else in mind. For example, it could mean that they will introduce a new kind of attraction this year. Either way, fans will have to wait for new announcements to find out what Universal and Blumhouse have planned for the franchise.

The timing of the collaboration is perfect, as Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is set to release on December 5, 2025. Halloween Horror Nights will likely include marketing actions for the upcoming movie. The video game series has become one of the most popular horror franchises, so whether it is a haunted house, a scare zone or something completely new and different, fans can rest assured that the franchise will make history at the event this year.

Halloween Horror Nights 2025 will take place on select nights from August 29 to November 2, 2025.
