Fallout will be featured at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights 2025 for the first time; a haunted house inspired by the franchise will be included at the event. As August draws nearer, Universal Studios is announcing the IP that will be featured in this year's Halloween Horror Nights, which will take place on select nights from August 29 to November 2, 2025, and Fallout is surprisingly among them.

Fallout is a well-established video game franchise that began in 1997. The franchise went through a few changes with new installments, and it reached a whole new level of popularity with when a successful live-action series was released last year on Amazon Prime Video. It became the platform's second most-watched title, with 65 million viewers in the first 16 days (behind only The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power). The second season is set to premiere in December 2025, and the third season has already been confirmed to be in production.

Halloween Horror Nights Bringing Back Five Nights at Freddy’s, But There’s a Catch

Universal Studios has confirmed that Five Nights at Freddy's will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights, though perhaps not in the way fans expected.

According to a press release, the haunted house will be inspired by the Prime Video series — there may also be a few nods to the games on which the series is based, but that's yet to be seen. Fallout's haunted house will be featured at both Universal Studios Orlando (starting August 29) and Universal Studios Hollywood (starting September 4). While this is a brand-new collaboration, many Fallout and Horror Nights fans had long hoped the series would be featured at the event. Since the franchise is set in a post-apocalyptic future, it fits well with the Halloween theme.

Fallout's Haunted House at Halloween Horror Nights

The attraction starts in Vault 33, where visitors will be joined by vault-dweller Lucy MacLean, and their goal is to survive the attacks while trying to escape. They will travel through the Wasteland and encounter characters, including the Ghoul, a bounty hunter who suffered intense radiation exposure; Maximus, a young squire; and many Scavengers and Raiders. The Fallout haunted house promises to leave fans in awe, and it could be the first of many collaborations to come.

Additionally, Universal recently announced that Five Nights at Freddy's will be coming to Horror Nights this year. In this case, they haven't confirmed whether it will be a haunted house or a scare zone, only stating that the collaboration will be "in a whole new way." Tickets are now on sale, and more information about the event should be released in the coming days.
