Hallmark has revealed 34 new gaming-themed ornaments based on iconic Xbox, Nintendo, and Sega consoles and characters. It's been a huge year for Xbox and Nintendo in particular, with Microsoft's A Minecraft Movie grossing over $800 million worldwide and Nintendo's Switch 2 console closing in on its June release in just over a month.

Xbox Fan Makes Nostalgic Discovery in Attic

One gamer finds a nostalgic relic of Xbox's early days tucked away in their attic, reminding others of the genesis of Microsoft's gaming brand.

While the holiday season is still many months away, Hallmark has come out with a new line of Christmas tree ornaments based on some of the most beloved gaming consoles, as well as some of the most iconic characters in video game history. Some of the most impressive of these ornaments have to do with Xbox, particularly faithful recreations of the original Xbox console and the Xbox 360, complete with each console's controller attached to the side. Perhaps a must-have for Halo fans is the incredible Halo 3 Xbox 360 game box ornament with a 3D Master Chief popping out of the iconic game art. There's also a piece for fans of the Minecraft movie: an ornament of the pink sheep seen in the film.

New Hallmark Ornament Collection Boasts Xbox 360, Halo 3 Box, Pokémon, and More

While Xbox has some of the most impressive pieces in Hallmark's new gaming collection, the majority of the ornaments have to do with Nintendo, namely Pokemon like Jigglypuff, Bulbasaur, Rowlet, and, of course, Pikachu. Like Xbox, Nintendo also has mini-ornament versions of two of its most iconic classic consoles, the NES and SNES. A golden Legend of Zelda game cartridge is also part of the collection, as well as what has to be the crown jewel for Nintendo fans: a Mario Super Star tree topper that flashes and emits what's likely to be the iconic Super Star jingle heard in many popular Mario games.

While fans of Xbox and Nintendo are surely eager to get their hands on some of these impressive Christmas tree ornaments, they may have to wait a few months for most of them. The release date of a lot of these Hallmark pieces is October 11, but there are a select few that are coming out on July 12. However, the ornaments of both Nintendo consoles, the original Xbox, and the Sega Genesis are all available now, so fans of these consoles should scoop them up before they're gone.
