How to Get All Legendary and Duo Boons in Hades 2

In Hades 2, there is hardly a better feeling than getting the exact boon you are looking for. Whether it be the main Attack or Special boon that sets the foundation for a certain build, or that incredible passive boon that comes at just the right moment, there's nothing like seeing that offering and knowing it's going to be a great run.

Fans of the original Hades will likely remember that many of the games' most powerful boons – Legendary and Duo boons – had specific requirements before they would be offered. This mechanic returns in Hades 2, though the requirements are not available until later in the game. This guide will make all Legendary and Duo boon requirements known, so players can get started on their most powerful builds immediately.

Updated February 27, 2025 by Christopher Norman W. – With the Warsong Update now in the hands of Early Access players, Hades 2 has finally added Ares to the group of gods helping Melinoe complete her task. This means that there will be a new group of Duo boons for players to explore, as well as a powerful new Legendary boon from the god of war. This guide update will add the requirements for all new boons, as well as any changes made to previous Hades 2 Legendary and Duo boon requirements.

Hades 2 is currently in Early Access. This means that changes can – and likely will – be made before the official 1.0 release. If any changes are made to Legendary and Duo boon requirements, this guide will be updated accordingly.

All Legendary Boon Requirements in Hades 2

Late in Hades 2, players will be able to unlock the Insight Into Offerings incantation. Along with every boon offered in the game, players will be able to see the requirements for all Legendary and Duo boons. Generally, before these boons are available, players will have to acquire the prerequisite boons.

Insight into Offerings: Ambrosia x2, Poppy x2, Golden Apple x1

Legendary Boons are generally seen as the ultimate boon offered by each god in Hades 2. They are designed to compliment the boons offered by their god, often adding a unique skill that bolsters or enhances the build. Players will usually have to accept multiple boons from the same god before their Legendary becomes available. For this reason, it is very hard to get Legendary boons early in a run.

Duo Boons in Hades 2 are another extremely powerful upgrade that Melinoë can collect during her travels. Instead of receiving a blessing from just one Olympian, here, Mel will receive a boon that combines aspects of two god's powers. At least one boon will be required from both Olympians, though which boon that is varies based on the nature of the Duo Boon.
