Guntouchables is a game with many tags — it's a top-down roguelike co-op horde shooter where a group of sentient sausages fend off wave after wave of mutant hotdogs. The game has a lot of good things going for it, and one such things is its roster of playable characters.

If you've played Back 4 Blood before, then Guntouchables should feel familiar. Apart from having random enemy mutators and card perks, there are also a selection of sausage survivors here who each have unique personalities, perks, and special abilities, and in this guide, we'll be going over all of them.

All Guntouchables Characters

Guntouchables Multiplayer with bots

As of writing, there are four survivors in Guntouchables, but more are slated to arrive as the game is updated. Every character offers a different playstyle — like in other similar co-op games, all of them can use any weapon effectively, but they each have unique abilities and a set of exclusive perk cards that double-down on their role.

Doc Marcus

Guntouchables Doc Marcus

Special Ability

Bone Saw: Hold attack button to cut through targets.

Field Medic (Perk)

Resurrect 100% faster. All medkits are 100% more effective.

Doctor's Orders (Perk)

Start every mission with a medkit.

Surgical Precision (Perk)

Bone Saw damage is increased by 20%.

Health Buff (Perk)

Health is increased by 20.

Uber Charge (Perk)

Health can go beyond the maximum amount. Overcharged health depletes over time.

Marcus is the medic of the team, though that doesn't make him any less dangerous. His special ability is an electric Bone Saw that he can use to quickly slice up mutants at close range, and his entire perk deck is all about keeping the team alive (among other things).

Doc Marcus becomes increasingly valuable the harder the mission is. Being able to revive more quickly and restore more health goes a long way, and since attrition is going to be the main run-killer in Guntouchables, having a way to heal everyone at the start of every mission will be crucial in higher difficulties.

Linda

Guntouchables Linda

Special Ability

Shovel: Swing a close-range shovel that knocks enemies back.

Sun Salutation (Perk)

Stamina is increased by 10.

Navigator (Perk)

Shows the exact consumables on the map.

Caffeinator (Perk)

Start each mission with a Primate energy drink (increases movement speed).

Counter Attack (Perk)

You have a chance to reflect incoming melee damage.

Lethal Positivity (Perk)

Killing an enemy with the shovel increases your damage.

Linda is a former scout master, and she helps her team by scavenging for supplies and being an agile close-range fighter. She is equipped with a Shovel that damages and knocks back enemies, making her a little similar to Doc Marcus in terms of playstyle.

If you want to zoom around the map while hunting for valuable supplies for your team, then Linda is a great choice. The utility she offers via her perks is great, and while she and Doc Marcus aren't as strong as the next couple of characters, they're essential for surviving long runs.

Alfred

Guntouchables Alfred the Hunter

Special Ability

Focused Shot: Steady your aim and deal double damage with shots.

Healthy Skepticism (Perk)

Enemies show up as red dots on the minimap.

Marksman (Perk)

Gain a 25% discount on rifles at the shop.

Escape Plan (Perk)

Start every mission with a Decoy Kit.

Mandela Effect (Perk)

If a rifle shot misses, automatically add one bullet to your magazine.

One in the Chamber (Perk)

Rifle shots have a chance to gain 100% bullet penetration.

Alfred is the team marksman, and he's all about using guns. Instead of having a tool like the others, he has the Focus Shot ability, which lets him steady his aim and deal double damage with his shots. Every shot will cost stamina, however, so be careful when spamming or using an automatic weapon.

As a professional (albeit legally questionable) hunter, Alfred is capable of tracking and exposing all enemy locations on the team's map, and his shots have a chance to have extra bullet penetration, making him great for knocking down conga lines of mutants with one bullet.

Big Bang

Guntouchables Commando class

Special Ability

Grenade: Throw a grenade that detonates on enemy contact.

Strong Start (Perk)

Start every mission with an ammo box.

Fannypack (Perk)

Base ammo capacity for all weapons is increased by 30%.

Hotshot (Perk)

Gain a 25% discount on all shotguns and machine guns at the shop.

Out with a Bang (Perk)

Drop a grenade when you go down.

Resilient (Perk)

Start the game with body armor.

Barry "Big Bang" Backhausen is the team's commando. His Special Ability lets him throw frag grenades that detonate upon hitting an enemy, making him the best AoE damage dealer in the roster so far. Further emphasizing his AoE horde clear role is a set of exclusive perks that give him more ammo, discounts on shotguns and machine guns, free body armor, and the ability to drop a grenade when he gets downed. Big Bang shines best in the midst of chaos, so save your grenades for when the hot dog hordes start pouring in.

Big Bang is a ton of fun to use if you like blowing things up. However, unlike the rest of the cast, his Special Ability is limited to three uses. Once you're out of grenades, you need to use an ammo box to get more.
