The Expanded and Enhanced edition of Grand Theft Auto Online brought it to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and provided some new features, including the wildlife that is now present in Grand Theft Auto Online.
The Chop Shop update added a daily challenge for players to photograph these animals. Cats occasionally appear on the list of required wildlife. This guide will show players how to start the animal photography challenge and where to find cats in Grand Theft Auto Online.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Release Window Gets Encouraging Update
Take-Two's latest financial report is good news for fans looking forward to playing Grand Theft Auto 6 next year.
Los Santos Tourism Board
The Los Santos Tourist Board is the provider of this challenge. You can go in person to the board itself, located on the western highway between Paleto Bay and Los Santos. Its icon will be a purple camera on your map. Walk up and press right on the D-Pad to get the list of the day's three animals.
You can also simply respond to the tourist board email. Your phone should receive their message as soon as you enter a multiplayer free-roam session. Open the message to conveniently get the list of animals on your phone. Photographing one of the animals will get you $20,000. Finish all the three to receive $40,000. Some special weekends and holiday events can double these rewards.
Photographing an animal for the first time will unlock the Park Ranger SUV for sale on the Warstock Cache And Carry website. Photographing three for the first time will get you a unique outfit.
Where to Find Cats in GTA
Cats are one of the most common animals in Grand Theft Auto Online. They can be found regularly in neighborhoods in Los Santos and Blaine County. Cats will only be out during the daytime and avoid the rain. Look in the alleyways of the city to find some stray cats. One of the most consistent places you can find a cat is in Sandy Shores.
Visit the store in town and inspect the alleyway to the right of the entrance. There is usually a cat perched on the wall and some in the alley. If you can't find them there, they will sometimes be sleeping across the street.
Cats can run if you get too close or disturb them. Pull out your phone and take a clear photo of a cat to get your reward.
