Rockstar Games continues the Halloween shenanigans in Grand Theft Auto Online, as a brand-new update for October 23 adds new rewards, discounts, and a free car for players to claim from now until November 5. The latest Grand Theft Auto Online update is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, bringing with it tons of Halloween-themed cosmetic items and content. For those looking for a new freebie, Rockstar once again has fans covered, but they need to act fast.
Grand Theft Auto Online kicked off its 2025 Halloween event at the beginning of October, as the spooky festivities descended on Los Santos with the return of Zombie Survival, a popular game mode that pits players against waves of the undead. The update also saw plenty of returning Halloween favorites, such as the massively popular Adversary Mode, Slasher. And throughout the month of October, Rockstar is releasing a different Halloween-themed mode in the Featured Series with double rewards. Besty vs. Slasher kicked off the month, followed by Judgement Day, then Slasher, now Condemned for this week's update, and finally Slasher once again to end the month.

GTA Online is Giving Away a Free Benefactor Krieger
As part of the continued event month, Rockstar Games has confirmed it is giving away another free car in Grand Theft Auto Online. From now until November 5, players can visit the Legendary Motorsport website in-game and claim the Benefactor Krieger for free. The vehicle usually costs GTA$2,875,000, but is discounted to exactly GTA$0 for the next two weeks. Players can also claim a seasonal orange and black version of the Krieger at the Luxury Autos showroom with some cosmetic upgrades applied for a "nominal GTA$ fee," according to Rockstar.
The latest weekly Grand Theft Auto Online update also brought plenty of other content to the ever-expanding live service title. New Halloween-themed cosmetics, such as masks and other clothing accessories, can be obtained in-game, alongside new weekly challenges, discounts, a new podium vehicle, and the return of the eerie Halloween weather, which gives the entirety of Los Santos a green hue. And with Halloween still to come, fans can expect plenty more content to arrive in next week's update.
As fans patiently wait for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar is keeping fans busy with a steady stream of new content updates. While the next major patch hasn't been officially announced yet, data miners and leakers have already uncovered evidence suggesting a big mansion update will arrive in Grand Theft Auto Online later this year. Rockstar often releases major updates in December, which is when many are expecting the highly anticipated mansion feature to arrive.
