In a new report from Bloomberg (via Insider Gaming), Schreier discussed the impact that GTA 6’ s eventual release will most likely have on the rest of the gaming industry, noting that at least one developer confirmed to him that they had pushed back their own project from Fall 2025 to Spring 2026 to avoid being overshadowed. Schreier advises these developers to remain wary, as it isn’t a guarantee that Rockstar will make its planned May 2026 release for Grand Theft Auto 6.
