Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games unveiled the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 on December 4, 2023, about a few days before The Game Awards that year. Unsurprisingly, the trailer broke records from the moment it was released. Just a single day after its debut, it became the most-viewed video game reveal of all time on YouTube, having amassed over 90 million views. As if that wasn't impressive enough, it also became the most-liked video game trailer ever and the most-viewed non-music video on YouTube in 24 hours. Although Rockstar didn't even show a single hint of Grand Theft Auto 6's gameplay at the time, the mere announcement of the game was enough to set the internet on fire.

This, coupled with his hobby of extensively researching video game history, has become an addiction of his; so much so to the point where he's practically transformed into a walking, talking gaming encyclopedia over the years. Fortunately, he's been putting this habit of his to good use by writing for The Best War Games.
Ediz's undying passion for video games has been present in him ever since he was a little kid. From the moment he got his hands on a Nintendo DS Lite and experienced forgotten gems like Pokemon Rangers, Spectrobes, Elite Beat Agents, and Scurge: Hive, he fell in love with gaming.
