Grand Theft Auto 6 fans believe they've discovered the actor behind Raul Bautista, who is seemingly set to be a prominent side character in the game's single-player story. Developer and publisher Rockstar Games recently revealed tons of new information surrounding the game's main characters, and it hasn't taken long for eagle-eyed Grand Theft Auto 6 fans to work out who the actors and actresses portraying some of them might be.

Earlier this month, Rockstar Games shocked the world when it finally released the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6. The highly anticipated trailer quickly went on to break recordings, racking up more than 475 million views across all social media platforms in just 24 hours. According to Rockstar Games, this makes it the biggest and fastest-growing video launch in the history of the internet. So, it will come as no surprise that fans have been analyzing and deep diving into every single frame and aspect of the trailer. There have already been a ton of different theories and easter egg discoveries, but now some are convinced they've worked out who the actor is for one of the game's characters, Raul Bautista.

GTA 6's Raul Bautista May Be Played by This Actor

After the game's first trailer was released in 2023, it didn't take fans long to work out who Lucia was likely portrayed by in Grand Theft Auto 6. There have also been numerous theories surrounding Jason, the game's second main protagonist. However, fans such as Twitter user GameRoll believe Spanish actor Oscar Jaenada is likely set to star as Raul Bautista in Grand Theft Auto 6. The theory was sparked after the actor took to Instagram to post a new image while he was wearing a t-shirt featuring the newly revealed GTA 6 character. Fans have also noted that Jaenada has a striking resemblence to Raul, meaning there's a strong chance that this is the actor portraying the character in Grand Theft Auto 6.

The 50 year old Spanish actor has most famously starred alongside Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Jeffret Dean Morgan, and Chris Evans in 2010's The Loser. However, the actor has also appeared in other Hollywood blockbusters such as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Rambo: Last Blood. According to the star's IMDB page, he will also be appearing in an episode of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

This isn't the first theory to have been ignited by the recent Grand Theft Auto 6 info dump and trailer, as fans recently speculated that Lucia, one of the game's two main protagonists, is related to Luis from Grand Theft Auto 4. Although fans likely won't know for sure until Grand Theft Auto 6 is released, speculation began after new details surrounding Lucia were revealed by Rockstar, including the fact that she is originally from Liberty City. However, while some fans jumped to the conclusion that she may be the daughter of Luis, others did some more investigative work and concluded that she is likely Luis' niece and the daughter of his brother, Ernesto.

Unfortunately, it's going to be quite some time until there is official confirmation on these theories, including the most recent one surrounding Raul's actor. Grand Theft Auto 6 was recently delayed from its initial release window of Fall 2025 to May 26, 2026, meaning there's one year left to go until the highly anticipated title is released. In a new statement releaed by Rockstar, the studio acknowledged the high expectations fans of the GTA series have, and noted that the studio requires the extra time to "deliver the level of quality" that fans expect from the series.
