Rockstar Games has released the highly anticipated "Money Fronts" update for Grand Theft Auto Online, which adds plenty of new vehicles and businesses for players to purchase. The latest update for Grand Theft Auto Online was revealed to the world last week and is now available to download on all supported platforms, which include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher or Steam.
After finding out that Grand Theft Auto 6 had been delayed to May 26, 2026, fans of the series have been eagerly anticipating the next major content update for Grand Theft Auto Online as a way to occupy the long wait for the next entry in the series. The previous update, known as Agents of Sabotage, was released all the way back in December, adding a new Garment Factory business, updates to the Terrorbyte, new vehicles, plenty of quality-of-life updates, and more. But after almost six months of no new updates, Grand Theft Auto Online fans are ready to jump into the new Money Fronts update, which is available to download for free right now.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Already Has a Missed Opportunity For GTA Online to Capitalize On
As more Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks come out, the potential absence of one area might be disappointing when it comes to online content.
Following its official reveal last week, Rockstar Games has now released the new Money Fronts update for Grand Theft Auto Online. The update can be downloaded for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. While there are no official patch notes just yet, a blog post from Rockstar Games has confirmed that Money Fronts will come with three new businesses for players to purchase: Hands On Car Wash, Higgins Helitours, and Smoke on the Water. All three of these businesses can be used as fronts for players' illegal businesses, allowing players to launder money through each property. The Smoke on the Water and Higgins Helitours will also boost earnings for Grand Theft Auto Online's Weed Farm and Air Freight Cargo.

Grand Theft Auto Online's Money Fronts update also adds plenty of new vehicles for players to get their hands on. The price of each new vehicle can be seen above (thanks, RockstarIntel). Unfortunately, some of these new vehicles are temporarily exclusive to GTA+ subscribers. For those who might be unaware, GTA+ is a monthly membership exclusively for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players. It grants players access to a selection of Rockstar Games titles, enhanced CEO and VIP perks in Grand Theft Auto Online, a new selection of benefits each month, GTA$, special amenities at The Vinewood Club, and more. It can be purchased for $7.99 USD.
While today's update was expected to be the last for GTA Online, Grand Theft Auto 6's disappointing delay means the live-service title will likely receive another content update just before the holiday period. Fans have long been requesting that GTA 5's Michael De Santa finally return in a new Grand Theft Auto Online update, but with Grand Theft Auto 6 expected to have its very own online mode, the future of Grand Theft Auto Online remains unclear.
