Update 1.3, also known as the Make It or Break It update, allows Grounded players to take their creativity to the next level. It provides several building and customization tools that give gamers the power to design their own Grounded levels, which are commonly referred to as Playgrounds.

This guide will tell fans everything they need to know about the Playgrounds game mode in Grounded. It will help players get accustomed to this tool so that they can try out everything it has to offer and eventually share their Playgrounds with the rest of the community.
How to Create a Playground
Players can access Playgrounds in Grounded right below the main story screen; this game mode can be accessed in both single-player and multiplayer. To create a Playground, gamers will have to select the Create New option at first and the Continue option when they get back to it later.
Map Selection
Fans can select the Backyard map if they'd like to create a Playground using the standard Grounded map or they can select the Grassbox map if they'd like to create a smaller level with nearly nothing on it.
Game Settings
Achievements are disabled in this game, so players can choose whichever settings they would like, except enabling quests and disabling bug spawns.
Creators can set additional settings by entering the menu while in Design Mode and selecting the Playground Settings.
Design Mode
Players have complete control over their Playground, and they have hundreds of gadgets and items that they can place in order to create the best map they could ever think of. Gamers can either control a character on the ground or the Handy Gnat, which has the ability to freely fly around the Playground's area.
To start designing, gamers must select the Place Objects option; this will open a menu with all the available item options. Here are all the categories and subcategories that players can use.

Players can enter Play Mode at any time to test their Playground's current state.
How to Publish a Playground
Playgrounds can be published directly from the Playground menu or from Design Mode or Play Mode. Gamers can publish a Playground in Grounded by accessing its save file and selecting the Publish Playground option. Once it's been published, the Playground's download code will appear next to the save file.
Players will only be able to publish their Playground if they name their playthrough, so if they're currently in an active unnamed save, they must exit to the main menu and rename it.
How to Delete a Playground
Players can unpublish a Playground by selecting the Continue option to take a look at their published creations, and then they must select Delete.
It is not possible to delete a world that is actively being hosted, so if the player is in multiplayer mode editing the save they published, they won't be able to delete it unless they return to the main menu.
When gamers delete a Playground, the game unpublishes it and downloads a local copy in order to ensure that the save data is not completely lost.
How to Play Fan Creations
Players can freely download and play in Playgrounds created by Grounded community. Unfortunately, there isn't a creative hub where gamers can check out what's popular at the moment and try out new levels, so they'll have to actually do some research and find some codes worth trying out.
Fans can download Community Playgrounds by selecting the Download Playground Option in the Downloads section of the main menu. Once they've downloaded a level, it'll be available as part of their regular saves, and they'll be able to try it out at any time.
