Graveyard Keeper is nothing if not unique - where other 'cozy' games like Cozy Grove and Animal Crossing will see players optimizing the happiness of their animal friends, Graveyard Keeper players will find themselves throwing bodies into the local river and performing autopsies for fun.

If players want to maximize their skill-trees and make those autopsies even more efficient, they'll need to generate science points - the game isn't great at explaining the process by which they're earned, so this guide will help players generate science points with strategies that are viable in the early, mid, and late game.

What Are Science Points?

Science points are a resource required for 'studying' objects in Graveyard Keeper - all objects in the game can be studied to get a varying amount of red, green, and blue points. The ability to study objects comes after gaining access to the church and its basement, where a study table unlocks the ability to study objects.

There is a catch, however - to study most objects, players need at least one Faith point and one Science point.

How To Get Science Points In The Early Game

Science Points are crucial in the early game, as using them to study objects is one of the most reliable ways to get blue points.

The relatively easy-to-obtain clean paper item will give two science points when used on a study table, and is easily obtained from the following sources:

  • Created via church workbench, requiring pigskin paper. Pigskin paper is also crafted via church workbench and requires skin from a human corpse.
  • Purchased from the Astrologer at the Lighthouse - he sells 2 clean paper for 1 silver coin.

While most players will have zombies doing their bidding in Graveyard Keeper's late game, they'll still need to generate science points to reach the end of their skill trees.

There are several new workstations to take advantage of, though, and the output of science points has never been greater.
