Developer and publisher Rockstar Games recently shared new details and images on the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, resulting in many discoveries as fans continue to analyze every frame.

The second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is already breaking records following its surprise release earlier in the week. The game's first trailer was released all the way back in December 2023, but Rockstar Games' lips have been sealed ever since, with no new information, screenshots, or trailers being shown for well over 500 days. Thankfully, the studio finally broke its silence on May 6 when it dropped a brand new trailer, which has already become the fastest-growing video launch in the history of the internet, with 70 screenshots and a huge amount of info on the studio's website. So it's no surprise that fans have been analyzing all of the new footage and images to discover as much as possible.

Grand Theft Auto 6 Fans Sports Necklace in GTA Online

Plenty of references and easter eggs have already been discovered in the new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, but one Reddit user has noticed that a necklace seen in a promotional screenshot is already available to purchase in GTA Online. The necklace in question can be seen on Cal Hampton, a new character for Grand Theft Auto 6,who is Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian. Most of the screenshots featuring Cal also feature the necklace, which Reddit user Neidmind noticed can be purchased in GTA Online for $35,000. Those looking to purchase the accessory can find it at Ponsonbys under the name Marble Stone Necklace.

The discovery sparked a conversation about Rockstar backporting assets from Grand Theft Auto 6 to GTA Online, with some blasting the studio for "recycling" assets, while others believe it's acceptable "as long as it's small things." This also isn't the first time that a Grand Theft Auto 6 item has been found in GTA Online. Almost one year on from the release of the game's first trailer, fans noticed that bandanas in GTA Online had identical patterns to those seen on Lucia and Jason in Trailer 1.

Fans also recently discovered what appeared to be Michael's boat from GTA 5 in Grand Theft Auto 6. Some speculated that this was a reference to an iconic mission from the 2013 title, while others believed that this was simply another case of Rockstar Games reusing assets and porting the yacht into Grand Theft Auto 6 to save time recreating it from scratch.
