A Grand Theft Auto 5 player has created a new drivable vehicle mod that lets players use the OceanGate Titan submersible. The Grand Theft Auto 5 mod features a custom collision model and is fully drivable.

Enter stage right SkylineGTRFreak, a modder that has created other mods inspired by real-world events, such as a recreation of the Chinese Spy Balloon that tormented the Pentagon a while ago. This modder created a new Grand Theft Auto 5 mod, letting players take to the ocean's depths as the missing OceanGate Titan submersible. The author explains that this mod comes with a custom collision model for a proper hitbox, meaning it won't have any issues with phantom hits. This fully drivable sub also has working lights and a fully operational frontal hatch players can enter through.
While this submersible has an impressive outer shell, it isn't much more than that. The mod's author explained that this model would have to use the default submarine layout due to the nature of submersible functions found in Grand Theft Auto 5. In other words, only one person will be able to board the submersible and have to enter through the front hatch. To access the mod in-game, players must use OpenIV to extract the DLC list file from the game, edit the file to add the submersible mod, and then use a trainer to spawn it. Once all these requirements are fulfilled, players can board the submersible and explore the depths of the sea.
Players continue expressing their creativity in Grand Theft Auto 5 through various mods that add more variety to the game experience. Unfortunately, not everything is perfect for Grand Theft Auto 5 players, as some have reported sighting player-controlled characters invading their Story Mode experience and making them lose their mission progress. While this is not a frequent issue, it still poses questions about how Rockstar plans to address this problem in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.
Grand Theft Auto Online is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
