Goose Goose Duck is a social deduction, free-to-play, indie game on Steam. This goofy, bird-themed video game allows players to play an Among Us-like game as both Geese and Ducks. The Ducks must successfully disguise themselves as Geese and kill the Geese while not raising the suspicions of the others.
Like most of these types of games, players have an in-game name or handle, and this is the name that other players will see when interacting with them. Unlike some other games, though, players can change this in-game name as they choose, if they can pay for it with Gold Coins.

In order to change the name that other people see, players just have to head to the settings menu. Head to the main menu, then click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This is also where players can adjust the sound, gameplay options, exit the game, and learn the controls.
Once at the settings screen, click on "Account." This will open the naming menu in this indie game.
Players of this Among Us-like imposter game will have to pay three Gold Coins every time they wish to change their in-game name. Click the button, and a new menu will open, the Create Gaggle Friend ID menu.
Just type the new name desired, then click the "Create ID" button below. The popular stream game Goose Goose Duck will then take three Gold Coins and change the visible in-game name.
How to Earn Gold Coins in Goose Goose Duck
There are several ways to get Gold Coins in Goose Goose Duck. The fastest and easiest method is to purchase them; head to the Shop by pressing the "PLUS" sign next to the number of Gold Coins. Select a purchase option; there are bundles from $1.99 USD to $49.99 USD. Purchase the Gold Coins then use them to change a player's name.
Some other ways players can earn Gold Coins:
- Sign in every day and collect the Daily Login Bonus. While this won't supply a lot of Gold Coins, and it will take some time, it's a free way to get the coins.
- Complete Achievements as often as possible. There are currently only 40 achievements in the game, but each will give player a few Gold to use for name changes and Goose Goose Duck's version of video game companion pets.
- Head to Hang Out mode and use the Claw Machines.
