The pair shared the screen again in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024). In the film, Godzilla and King Kong are featured as co-leaders and allies as they explore the Hollow Earth. Kong finds himself against Scar King and Godzilla returns to assist him. The crossover is bringing another beloved character from Jurassic Park.

Dinosaurs aren't joining Godzilla and King Kong, but one of the original cast members of Jurassic Park is confirmed to appear in the upcoming MonsterVerse movie. Sam Neill, who is best known for playing Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park (1993), Jurassic Park III (2001), and Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), is the latest name added on the Godzilla x Kong sequel, Collider reported. The other cast members previously announced include Dan Stevens, who returns as Trapper Beasley from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, The Last of Us star Kaitlyn Dever, Sinners actor Jack O'Connell, Da 5 Bloods' Delroy Lindo, Stranger Things star Matthew Modine, and Apple Cider Vinegar star Alycia Debnam-Carey.
