A clip online ranks as one of the more hilarious to come out of God of War Ragnarok, showing Brok going berserk. Sony Santa Monica's epic second chapter of its critically acclaimed series, God of War Ragnarok has its irreverent moments during the course of its story, but nothing in the vein of this absurd video.

Released on November 9, 2022, God of War Ragnarok was a smash hit and worthy sequel, becoming the fastest-selling first-party launch for PlayStation as well as garnering a nomination for The Game Awards 2022 Game of the Year. In early April, a sizable update to the game introduced multiple new features, including an impressively fleshed-out New Game Plus mode that, like the first God of War, included a new armor tier along with several unique challenges and rewards. Fans who were blown away by the title when it launched are celebrating a proper excuse to go back for another playthrough.

A clip posted to Reddit by Mr_Blobby456 shows what happens in God of War Ragnarok' s New Game Plus when players toggle the training option in Nifflheim to compete against one Draugr with unlimited health. The companions in God of War Ragnarok are capable combatants in their own right, greatly assisting the player in combat, and the Dwarven blacksmith Brok is no exception. Staggered to the ground, the Draugr would typically be executed, but with its unlimited health, Brok instead got stuck in an endless loop. From there, a few potshots with his smithing hammer becoming a never-ending tsunami of furious blows. While technically a bug, the violent onslaught does seem on-brand for the legendary hot-tempered blacksmith.

The New Game Plus update to God of War Ragnarok is a gift for fans who are already anxious for the next entry in the God of War saga. The ending to the game opened up multiple possibilities for the new games, with some wondering if Kratos will take a backseat as the main character. Despite some evidence to the contrary, it is unlikely that God of War Ragnarok will receive a true expansion, with director Eric Williams all but ruling it out, leaving fans to speculate on the ending for the foreseeable future.

For those having trouble biding time for the next great chapter in God of War, videos like Mr_Blobby456's are a welcome distraction. Brok's turn as an enraged menace is a hilarious sight and maybe even therapeutic for those who struggled with some of the harder Draugr encounters on Give Me God of War difficulty.

God of War Ragnarok is available now on PS4 and PS5.
