Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut players can run around Iki Island and discover all sorts of surprises. There is plenty of content to keep players busy for hours, ranging from Archery Challenges to Shrines. There is also some content making a return from the original campaign. One of these that players will recognize is the Bamboo Strikes.

Ghost of Tsushima: How to Start Iki Island DLC

Here's how to trigger the quest to get to the Iki Island DLC for Ghost of Tsushima.

These challenges were sprinkled all over Tsushima as players tackled exploring the large map. Now, there are additional Bamboo Strikes for players to find across the Island of Iki as they take on the DLC. Here's where to find them all.

Ghost of Tsushima Bamboo Strikes Explained

Bamboo Strikes are a way for Jin to increase his Resolve. Each time the player starts a Bamboo Strike, it will progress in difficulty until they cut through seven bamboo stalks. After completion, each Bamboo Strike will increase Jin's Resolve.

New players should know that Resolve is Ghost of Tsushima's version of healing. Jin requires Resolve to heal himself whenever he gets injured, perform certain techniques, and bring himself back from death.

Tatsu's Ladder Bamboo Strike

The first Bamboo Strike that players may come across while traversing Iki Island is around the northeastern section of the center of the map.

Players will discover this activity just east of Tatsu's Ladder and west of Kemono Trail. It is near a mountainous area and a lake.

Saru Island Bamboo Strike

Down in the southernmost section of Iki Island is a smaller island just off the coast. Players will need to swim their way to it, but doing so will allow them to reach the Bamboo Strike there.

Along with that, players will be able to discover a Pillar of Honor and obtain a new sword kit. When players discover this Bamboo Strike, they will need to spend some bamboo to set up the activity.

Shipwreck Bamboo Strike

On the eastern coast of Iki Island is a shipwreck that players can discover for the next Bamboo Strike, positioned just above the shipwreck. On the map, it is north of Zasho Bay and east of Zasho Forest.

Sucker Punch's recreation of Iki island within Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut features a number of sneaky PlayStation themed Easter eggs.

Once players arrive at this location, the way to the Bamboo Strike will be blocked. Jin must pull down a wall with his grappling hook before he can get access to the entrance.

Buddha's Footprints Bamboo Strike

This Bamboo Strike is found at the southernmost tip of Iki Island at the bottom of Buddha's Footprints. There are a few other activities in this location for players to discover on top of the Bamboo Strike. Nearby, players can discover the Shrine in Shadow and the Raider's Memorial.
