Ghost of Tsushima developer, Sucker Punch Productions, recently posted on a job board seeking out talent for its next open-world game. Sucker Punch has brought gamers some of PlayStation’s best titles such as the Infamous series, Ghost of Tsushima, and Sly Cooper. Based on a recent job listing, it may have another title in development and is in need of new talent.

Many Ghost of Tsushima fans were disappointed after the 2023 PlayStation Showcase due to the series' absence. Although a Ghost of Tsushima sequel was not revealed during the 2023 PlayStation Showcase, recent activities from Sucker Punch may indicate that another Ghost of Tsushima title is currently in development.

This job listing is not indicative of which title the studio is currently developing, but a previous job listing by Sucker Punch revealed more clues that the studios next open-world game is another Ghost of Tsushima title. Based on the job listing, the next Ghost of Tsushima title may focus on stealth. Sucker Punch was on the lookout for an Encounter Designer with experience in encounters in open-world games, gameplay loops, and enemy composition with a focus on melee combat and stealth. A listed bonus was a candidate who find themselves happiest when “working closely with ninjas and other disciplines.”

Although another Ghost of Tsushima title has yet to be officially announced, and it has been three years since the original's release, there are still gamers who are enjoying it to this day. Gamers continue to find Ghost of Tsushima appealing and worth re-visiting for its gorgeous graphics and feudal Japan setting, so it's no surprise there is great interest in a potential sequel.

Ghost of Tsushima is available to play on PS4 and PS5.
