The Halo series was first created by the game developer Bungie. However, 343 Industries, the creator of Halo Infinite, is a subsidiary of Xbox Game Studios that now specializes in the development of the Halo series. The studio was created to design and develop Halo games. So far the company has produced titles including Halo 4, Halo Wars 2, and Halo 5: Guardians, among others. Halo Infinite is the latest iteration of the game series. At the forefront of the game series is the Spartan supersoldier, Master Chief. It is the playable character in most of the Halo series games.
