Geralt of Rivia was promoted as a Battle Pass skin right at the start of this Fortnite season, and it seems that he will be unlockable at last. At first, it wasn't as common for Epic Games to release new Fortnite skins, but that's no longer the case; this is obvious just by comparing the size of the Item Shop nowadays to what it was a couple of years ago. There are hundreds of skins in the game, and the number keeps growing as time goes by.

As Fortnite's popularity increased, it started releasing collab skins and some of them can even be obtained simply by completing the Battle Pass. There are two licensed skins in this Fortnite season's Battle Pass: Doom Slayer and Geralt of Rivia. There are players that would simply prefer Epic Games to keep to their own skins when it comes to the Battle Pass, but, of course, there are also fans of these franchises that are delighted to see their favorite characters in another game they enjoy.

Geralt of Rivia is the bonus skin of Fortnite's Chapter 4 Season 1's Battle Pass. This means that those that purchase the Battle Pass can eventually unlock him, but only later on in the season and if they manage to complete a few quests. An in-game countdown has recently appeared in the Quests tab of Fortnite called "Geralt of Rivia" and it shows that the page one quest will be available next Tuesday once the new update hits.

geralt quests page coming soon

Before this, despite fans knowing that Geralt would be available sooner or later, it was unknown exactly when they would be able to unlock him. According to the Geralt of Rivia Battle Pass section, there are going to be two pages of themed rewards; the first page will be accessible Tuesday, and it includes the long-awaited gaming legends series Geralt of Rivia Fortnite skin; the second page will only be accessible three weeks later, and its contents remain a mystery for now.

The Geralt skin should work just like any other bonus skin in previous seasons. Players will have to complete quests; each quest will unlock a cosmetic reward, and once they've completed a certain number of quests, they'll gain access to the Geralt of Rivia skin as a Bonus Goal reward. These quests will most likely be around until the end of this Fortnite season, so players shouldn't worry about completing them within a time limit.

Fortnite is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
