Genshin Impact fans are in for some major announcements within just a few days, with HoYoverse officially confirming the date and time for the Version 6.0 Special Program. The massively popular HoYoverse RPG is just a couple of weeks away from its biggest update of the year, with Genshin Impact gearing up to debut its next playable region. Nod-Krai will serve as the first playable segment of the long-rumored region of Snezhnaya, with major factions like the Fatui, Hexenzirkel, and Knights of Favonius said to be involved. HoYoverse is now getting ready to pull back the curtain on Nod-Krai.
Genshin Impact has already showcased plenty of new content coming to the game during the Version 6.0 update. Nod-Krai's launch update will introduce three brand-new characters to the game's playable roster, with Lauma, Aino, and Flins all set to make their Genshin Impact debut during the patch. HoYoverse has also shown off several areas within Nod-Krai that players will be able to explore, including the Frostmoon Scions' home of Hiisi Island and Nasha Town among others. Genshin Impact Players Have a Chance to Win Free Primogems for a Limited Time
With Nod-Krai on the horizon, Genshin Impact players have the chance to win bonus Primogems for the stacked banners of Version 6.0.
HoYoverse officially announced the date and time for Genshin Impact's Version 6.0 Special Program livestream late Tuesday night. The developer confirmed that its newest livestream broadcast focused around the Nod-Krai region will officially air on Friday, August 29, with the start time for the main program set for 8:00 A.M. EDT. HoYoverse also revealed that it will feature a "special guest segment" directly before and after the livestream, starting 9 minutes earlier at 7:51 A.M. EDT. The developer teased its typical redemption codes to be distributed throughout the livestream, alongside "other goodies."

The Version 6.0 Special Program is expected to be jam-packed with big news for Genshin Impact's next update. HoYoverse will likely share the first major teasers about Nod-Krai's main story, alongside previewing some of the new enemies, characters, and music players will encounter during the update. The key visual for the presentation also teases some future characters who will be featured in Version 6.0's story, including Fatui Harbingers Sandrone and Columbina among others. Genshin Impact's Version 6.0 is scheduled to officially launch on September 10.
Genshin Impact's newest region looks to be bringing plenty of major changes beyond Nod-Krai and its new cast of characters. Genshin Impact is heavily rumored to be upgrading its Battle Pass as part of the Version 6.0 update, adding multiple new rewards for players to acquire when leveling up the pass. HoYoverse has also confirmed that the developer will begin to sunset Genshin Impact's PS4 client, removing the PS4 version from the PlayStation Store and ceasing any new updates on PS4. Genshin Impact has some big changes on the horizon with its new region launching in just a couple of weeks.
