According to the footage, the sub-region will feature the long-awaited Great Volcano of Tollan, which has been mentioned multiple times in Genshin Impact's main storyline. The volcano will have active eruptions, and the sky will be filled with falling lava fragments. Many comments in the discussion praise HoYoverse for consistently delivering impressive world environmental effects, with some fans claiming that the volcano region was worth the wait.
Genshin Impact Version 5.5: New Volcano Animation Revealed
As for the volcano's location, it is situated southwest of Natlan, in a region also known as the Sacred Mountain.
