Summary
- Xilonen, Chiori, Nahida, and Hu Tao are the featured characters in Genshin Impact Version 5.1 Event Banners.
- Xilonen offers healing and Elemental Resistance shredding, while Chiori complements mono-Geo teams as a sub-DPS.
- Nahida pairs well with Kinich, while Hu Tao is a strong Pyro polearm character in Version 5.1.
Genshin Impact has officially confirmed the featured characters of Version 5.1, as its Event Banners will be headlined by Xilonen, Chiori, Nahida, and Hu Tao. While only three Natlan characters have joined the playable cast in Genshin Impact, first impressions have largely been positive across the community. Mualani has offered a new playstyle for Hydro Catalysts, Kinich is an extremely mobile take for the Burgeon and Burning teams, while Kachina is beloved by characters such as Navia due to her ability to consistently trigger Geo reactions.
The next Genshin Impact character from Natlan is Xilonen, a 5-Star Geo Sword that many players have described as a universal Support. Her gameplay is founded on proper teambuilding, as Xilonen shreds the Elemental Resistance of her enemies based on the elements of her teammates (provided they aren't Dendro or Anemo). Furthermore, her Elemental Burst provides single-target healing, while her Elemental Skill offers a way to scale the cliffs of Teyvat with ease.
Genshin Impact Redeem Codes (November 2025)
Genshin Impact redeem codes commonly come with Primogems rewards that aid in players’ gacha experience.
As revealed by HoYoverse during the Special Program livestream, and shared via the official Genshin Impact account on Twitter, Xilonen and Chiori will feature during the first half of Version 5.1. While Xilonen's full potential in mono-Geo is only realized with C2, Chiori is a mainstay for mono-Geo teams in need of a sub-DPS. The second half of Version 5.1 will feature Nahida and Hu Tao, with the latter having one of the best polearms in Genshin Impact for a wide list of characters.
Genshin Impact Event Banners for Version 5.1
- Xilonen – 5-Star Geo Sword
- Chiori – 5-Star Geo Sword
- Nahida – 5-Star Dendro Catalyst
- Hu Tao – 5-Star Pyro Polearm
Players who have obtained Kinich in Version 5.0 should set aside some pulls for Nahida in Genshin Impact, as the Dendro Archon is one of Kinich's best teammates in his Burgeon, Quicken, and Hyperbloom teams. On the other hand, Hu Tao represents an old-school take on the Pyro hypercarry, and works well with recent characters such as Furina and Xianyun, as well as classic options such as Yelan and Zhongli.
In terms of the Weapon Banner in Genshin Impact, Version 5.1 will introduce three new 4-Star Weapons to the gacha pool, albeit with rather niche effects. That being said, the Signature Weapons of Chiori and Xilonen will offer a powerful 5-Star option for DEF-based characters, which makes their Weapon Banner extremely valuable to Geo players. While Version 5.1 won't feature a new map expansion, Genshin Impact promises plenty of story content in the Archon Quest and Flagship Event of the upcoming patch. Version 5.1 is expected to launch on October 9, 2024, and will last until November 20, 2024.
