A recent leak from Genshin Impact is teasing a new World Boss set to be added to the game during the Version 4.1 update. The debut of the Fontaine region brought plenty of new enemies to the world of the HoYoverse RPG, between the Meka robotic constructs and the variety of undersea life players can battle. Bosses were a particular highlight of the newest update, not only bringing two new world bosses to the game but also adding several "Local Legend" mini-bosses scattered throughout the Hydro region. Now, the RPG's next update will add another menacing boss to Fontaine.
Genshin Impact's Version 4.0 update would see the introduction of two new world bosses players could challenge within Fontaine. The Emperor of Fire and Iron boss tasks players with draining the colossal crab's Pyro shield, interrupting its actions and allowing players to deal massive damage to the unprotected boss. The Icewind Suite takes advantage of Genshin Impact's new Pneuma and Ousia mechanics, with different forms for each side of the combat trick. Genshin Impact's newest boss is reportedly set to focus around Elemental Reactions and quick thinking.
A new leak from prominent HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat has revealed more details about the Millennial Pearl Seahorse boss coming to Genshin Impact's Version 4.1. The primary mechanic for the seahorse boss will reportedly revolve around its "Millennial Pearl," which increases resistances and can be destroyed using Elemental Reactions. Once the Pearl's Electro is dropped low enough, the boss will drop three "Hearts of Storm" which players can destroy to shred the boss' resistances. Leaks have also suggested the Millennial Pearl Seahorse will appear in the Spiral Abyss lineup for Version 4.1.
Genshin Impact's newest world boss comes as one of several enemies planned to be added during Genshin Impact's next update. Previous leaks have teased a variety of enemies coming to the game, including the Seneschal of Wind and Seneschal of Frost among others. Genshin Impact is also rumored to be adding more of the previously mentioned Local Legend mini-bosses with Version 4.1, suggested to be introducing five new mini-bosses.
