Genshin Impact has officially confirmed the date and time for the upcoming 4.3 Special Program event. A couple of days before the release of each new update, developer HoYoverse hosts a live stream event that reveals most of the upcoming content, including new roster additions, weapons, and events.

Genshin Impact's social media accounts have previously revealed two new characters that will join the playable roster with update 4.3, Navia and Chevreuse. Navia is confirmed to be a five-star claymore user, while Chevreuse is expected to have a lower four-star rarity.

According to the game's official announcement, the Genshin Impact 4.3 Special Program event will be held on December 8 at 07:00 AM (UTC-5). Regarding the update's actual release date, Travelers can expect version 4.3 to drop around December 20, considering that the ongoing Limited Character Banner is scheduled to expire the day before. The live stream will reveal more information about the two upcoming characters, the Geo user Navia and the Pyro polearm character Chevreuse. There is a lot of hype around Navia's release since she will be the first Geo character to join the roster after Yun Jin, who arrived back in January 2022.

What is Navia's Role in a Team Composition?

According to recent leaks, Navia will be a new DPS character whose kit revolves around triggering the Crystallize elemental reaction, which can be caused by combining Geo with Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Hydro. Collecting shards dropped by this reaction will increase Navia's overall damage output, similar to Neuvillette's Charged Attack. Her Elemental Burst will make Navia summon a large cannon that periodically deals AoE Geo damage.

Regarding her build, recent rumors have revealed that HoYoverse will release a brand-new artifact set that will boost her ATK stat and increase her overall damage potential when she absorbs Geo shards. Many fans seem excited to see how Navia will blend into the current meta, considering that the only S-tier Geo user right now is the famous Liyue Archon Zhongli.

Travelers can expect Navia and Chevreuse to appear on the same limited banner which will make it much easier add both of them to the roster. According to previous leaks, Chevreuse's Elemental Skill makes Travelers enter aiming mode, which will allow them to shoot a Pyro bullet at a target location, dealing AoE Pyro damage in the process. Chevreuse's Elemental Burst will fire a grenade at her opponents which will split into many explosive particles upon impact, dealing Pyro damage to nearby enemies.
