Over the last couple of days, multiple leaks have revealed numerous details about Varesa, including her element, weapon type, playstyle, and more. A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has finally showcased Varesa's in-game animations. Previous Genshin Impact leaks indicated that Varesa's kit revolves around a special state called Limit Drive, which allows her to continuously trigger her Elemental Burst. Many fans in the comment section expressed disappointment that Varesa's secondary burst activations do not include a special animation. These burst attacks count as Plunging Attacks, which will apparently be Varesa's main source of damage.
Genshin Impact 5.5: Varesa Element, Rarity, and Release Date Explained
Some players have pointed out that, given her heart-inspired design, Varesa should have been part of the ongoing Genshin Impact Version 5.4, which arrived on February 12, just two days before Valentine's Day. As for Varesa's rarity, she will most likely be a five-star character, while Iansan is expected to be a four-star. The video leak also confirmed that Varesa is an Electro user. Triggering a Nightsoul Burst twice within 12 seconds will grant a 60% ATK buff, meaning that Genshin Impact players will need to surround Varesa with Natlan characters.
A large portion of the community has praised HoYoverse for creating a new hypercarry that benefits from using Plunging Attacks, a variation of Normal Attacks that is not particularly popular in Genshin Impact. However, it should be noted that the numbers shown in the video do not reflect Varesa's actual DPS potential in Genshin Impact, as they were taken from a private beta server where her Energy is always full.
