Exploration in areas of Genshin Impact typically shows some symbols on the map, which indicate an item that can be collected for certain rewards. For instance, in the main areas of the regions, there are Anemoculus, Geoculus, Electroculus, and so on. But the sub-regions like Dragonspine, Enkanomiya, the Chasm, and Chenyu Vale, have their own versions of Oculi.
In Chenyu Vale, their Oculi is called Spirit Carp. Similar to Plumes of Purifying Light in the Girdle of the Sands, if players wish to use Spirit Carp for the Rainjade Oblation offering in Genshin Impact, they must first complete the quests that lock it.

How To Use Spirit Carp In Genshin Impact
To use Spirit Carp in Genshin Impact, players must complete the following quests:
- Chenyu's Blessings of Sunken Jade
- The Cloud-Padded Path to the Chiwang Repose
Chenyu's Blessings of Sunken Jade is automatically triggered when you first enter Chenyu Vale, and The Cloud-Padded Path to the Chiwang Repose will automatically appear around two in-game days after completing the former mission. Players can simply fast-forward the time to trigger it quickly.
After obtaining the task, return to Chiwang Terrace, and there, you’ll meet Lingyuan. The beast says that she has been trying to enter Carp’s Rest, but couldn’t, so she needs the Traveler’s help.
Walk straight across the platform, and look up to find an interactable water pearl. Use the Adeptal power to warp above and enter Carp’s Rest. This is the place players first reach when they step into Chenyu Vale, the first time they meet Fujin and listen to her request. For returning to Carp’s Rest, you’ll get The Secluded Path achievement in Genshin Impact.
After a conversation with Fujin and Lingyuan, the fish Adeptus reveals that she can’t take on human form for a while as she uses her power to nurture Chenyu Vale back to health. However, players can help her by collecting Spirit Carps all over the area and returning them to Fujin via the Rainjade Oblation offering system in Genshin Impact.
Rainjade Oblation Reward
After getting 40 Spirit Carps, players will get to show one area where the unclaimed Spirit Carps are, but before that, you simply need to search on your own.
Fortunately, the effort won’t be in vain as the Rainjade Oblation offering system grants decent rewards. Each level comes with 10 
Mystic Enhancement Ores, 50k Mora, 200 
Adventure EXP (or 2k Mora for players at Adventure Rank 60), and one unique reward, which can be seen in this table:
