Tonatiuh in Genshin Impact is a sky-faring ship built by the Lord of the Cinder City. As a flying ship, it's no wonder that it's located far above the ground, floating between the clouds. After reaching the legendary place, players who try to jump down will find themselves falling for a really long time with nothing but gray clouds in sight. Once the long seconds pass, players will finally start to see the landscape of Natlan, looking small from way up there.
Under the Tonatiuh's Wings is an achievement in Genshin Impact that celebrates what and where Tonatiuh is. The trophy is obtained from an area in the sky, but not anywhere close to how far up Tonatiuh is.

Under The Tonatiuh's Wings Achievement In Genshin Impact
To get the Under the Tonatiuh's Wings achievement in Genshin Impact, head to the two circular platforms on the map northeast of the main Ochkanatlan island. Players can reach the area by gliding down from the high ground of Tonatiuh or flying up with a Qucusaurus.
There are two puzzles to solve, one in the upper-right and another in the bottom-left. Both are a Relay Ball puzzle in Genshin Impact, where the mechanism consists of the following things:
- Relay Balls that can be grabbed and thrown with a Yumkasaurus ability.
- A portal-like colored-platform that's the "goal" for the Relay Balls.
- Ball Path Converters that can change the color of the Relay Ball so that it matches the colored-platform.
Under The Tonatiuh's Wings Puzzle #1 (Upper-Right)
In the first puzzle, throwing the Relay Ball into the Ball Path Converter will cause the Relay Ball to be thrown into the sky, as the goal is not aligned with the Converter. Therefore, players must do the following to solve the riddle:
- Grab the Relay Ball with a Yumkasaurus ability or characters from the Scions of the Canopy like Kinich in Genshin Impact.
- Throw the Relay Ball to the Ball Path Converter.
- Wait until the Ball touches the Converter, then immediately pull the Grappling Hook underneath to rotate the positioning.
- Watch where the Relay Ball goes and adjust the timing if necessary.
Solving this puzzle will reward players with an Exquisite Chest, and a Phlogiston Wind Current will appear to take Travelers to the second puzzle.
Phlogiston Wind Current will damage characters that aren't from the Flower-Feather Clan or indwelling the Qucusaurus form.
Under The Tonatiuh's Wings Puzzle #2 (Bottom-Left)
The second puzzle is similar to the first but with a small twist, and it rewards a Precious Chest in Genshin Impact. Here's how players can solve it:
- Pull the Grappling Hook to rotate the Ball Path Converter until one of them is aligned with the goal.
- Throw the Relay Ball to the Ball Path Converter on the opposite side.
- As the Relay Ball is flying, use the Grappling Hook to rotate the positioning.
- Watch as the Relay Ball flies into the goal.
