Genshin Impact has officially confirmed the arrival of two new characters, Navia and Chevreuse, for version 4.3. Even though HoYoverse is yet to introduce Furina and Charlotte in the upcoming update 4.2, their official social media accounts have already confirmed which two characters will join the playable roster in 6–7 weeks.

Genshin Impact's frequent update schedule allows HoYoyverse to continually expand the pool of playable characters. Since the Fontaine update arrived, the game has announced 9 new playable characters in four updates, including Navia and Chevreuse.

Genshin Impact's official social media accounts have confirmed the arrival of two popular characters to the roster, Navia and Chevreuse. Navia has been one of the most anticipated characters since she first appeared in a compelling cutscene during Genshin Impact update 4.0. The official storyline officially confirmed that she plays the role of the president of Spina di Rosula, an organization that helps the people of Fontaine in various matters. This organization was founded by her father Callas and Navia serves as the second President after her father's death.

One of the most exciting things about Navia is the fact that she will be a new Geo character which will make her the first Geo user to arrive on the roster after Yunjin who was released way back in January 2022. Even though her official splash art does not show a weapon, she is rumored to be a Geo claymore user. According to credible leakers, Navia will be a sub-DPS character who can become the main DPS if players invest in her constellation levels.

Navia's Elemental Skill will apparently allow her to enter a special mode that allows her to turn her iconic umbrella into a gun, which she can use to shoot down her enemies. While in this state, Navia can absorb nearby Crystallize shards that provide different kinds of buffs depending on their element. Her Elemental Burst will allow Navia to set up a special canon that deals Geo damage to nearby enemies and creates Crystallize shards.

So far the official storyline has not revealed a lot of information about Chevreuse who is known as the current Captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol. Her official bio has confirmed that she will be a Pyro character and previous rumors claim that she will be a four-star unit. Both characters are confirmed for version 4.3, which according to Genshin Impact's usual update schedule, should drop around December 20.
