A Genshin Impact chart has revealed the most popular characters in the current phase 2 version of the 4.5 Spiral Abyss. The Spiral Abyss is widely considered the main piece of endgame content as it features mighty enemies with stacked HP bars.
These opponents are spread over 12 different levels, also known as floors, each containing multiple chambers in which Travelers face multiple waves of enemies. Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss keeps changing approximately every two weeks, requiring players to adapt their team composition to get various rewards, including precious Primogems.
A Twitter user named hxg_diluc has shared an interesting chart that shows the most used characters in the Spiral Abyss domain. With a usage rate of 89%, the top spot was taken by the famous Liyue Archon Zhongli. This character was released back in Version 1.1, further demonstrating Genshin Impact's successful management of power creep issues. Zhongli is still the most powerful Geo user in the game thanks to a stacked kit that can deal tons of damage and provide the strongest shield in Genshin Impact. He is also very free-to-play friendly, as players don't need to invest too many resources in Zhongli's build or constellation levels.

Zhongli is closely followed by another Archon, Lady Furina, who took the second spot on the list with an 88.6% usage rate. As the Fontaine Archon, Furina has been in the main spotlight throughout the majority of the ongoing Archon Quest. When it comes to her power on the field, she is regarded as one of the best five-star characters in Genshin Impact and a must-have for players who need Hydro support in their team composition.
Furina's Fontaine colleague, Neuvillette, is the third most used character in the current Spiral Abyss. At the moment, Neuvillette is by far the most powerful Hydro DPS unit in Genshin Impact, as he can clear certain Abyss floors all by himself without any support, thanks to a stacked kit that revolves around his unique Charged Attack. Players have a few weeks to add Neuvillette to their roster, as he is currently featured on the Limited Character Banner alongside Kaedehara Kazuha, who took fourth place on the list.
The most recently released five-star character, Chiori, has a 53.2% usage rate, securing her the 8th spot on the list. She is a decent off-field DPS or support who has great synergy with other Geo characters in Genshin Impact. She is the go-to support for Fontaine's president of the Spina di Rosula, Navia, who arrived two updates before Chiori's official release.
