While roaming around Teatree Slope in Genshin Impact, players will stumble upon a little girl on a raft named Xiangjun. She is worried about her grandpa who went missing three days ago and supposedly got kidnapped by mountain demons. It turns out that Xiangjun’s grandpa is the village herb gatherer, and he went to Mt. Xuanlian to get some blessed water for a rare plant he found.
Players will trigger the Roaming Abode Quest in Genshin Impact after speaking with Xiangjun. After that, you will go on an adventure to find the little girl's missing grandpa.
Genshin Impact: The Dealing Sands Quest Guide (Breaking Iron And Stone Achievement)
Breaking Iron and Stone achievement in Genshin Impact is granted after players complete The Dealing Sands quest.
How To Trigger The Roaming Abode Quest In Genshin Impact
The Roaming Abode Quest is triggered after completing Chenyu’s Blessings of Sunken Jade World Quest in Genshin Impact. To find Xiangjun, travel to the Teatree Slope waypoint and glide down to the river found west. Approach the lone raft and speak with the little girl to trigger the Quest.
Xiangjun only appears at night, starting from 7 PM, so make sure to fast-forward the clock if players reach the area during the daytime.
Once the conversation is over, she will take players to a place where they can search for clues about her grandpa. Head to the marked location to find an abandoned camp with a note saying Xiangjun’s grandpa overslept and decided to risk it and take a shortcut filled with all kinds of monsters.
Next, follow grandpa’s trail to arrive at the base of the mountain just south of Yaodie Valley. Defeat the Hilichurls in Genshin Impact and attack the explosive barrel to reveal a hidden cave. Upon exploring the cave, you'll stumble across another note that reveals that grandpa was attacked and is now heading to Mt. Xuanlian to get the blessed water.
How To Remove The Green Barrier Near Mt. Xuanlian In Genshin Impact
After getting out of the cave, follow the Quest marker to arrive at a green barrier in Genshin Impact near Mt. Xuanlian. To remove it, backtrack a little bit to find two circular pressure plate platforms. You can either put the nearby statue on one and stand on the other platform, or use a Geo character like Zhongli, Ningguang, and Geo Traveler to place a Geo construct on one platform and stand on the other.
Solving this easy puzzle in Genshin Impact will remove the green barrier and players are free to go inside the cave and collect some blessed water. Sadly, grandpa can’t be found anywhere, so Traveler and Paimon decide to go back to the village and ask around.
Head to Qiaoying Village and seek Uncle Luo to ask about Xiangjun and her grandpa. It turns out that there’s no girl named Xiangjun and the unknown grandpa passed away three years ago. Nevertheless, Uncle Luo guides you to the grandpa’s house, so you can water the "divine plant" with the blessed water. Head to the herb gatherer's house and circle the house to the backyard to water the divine plant.
With that, the Roaming Abode Quest is completed, and you get the Xiangjun's Dreams Achievement in Genshin Impact. Before leaving, players can open the clock menu and wait one day to see the divine plant sprout to life. Investigate it to get a 4-star flower-piece of the Echoes of the Offering artifact.
