A new Genshin Impact video leak has revealed the synergy of the upcoming character Skirk with some other characters, including the recently released Escoffier and the Hydro Archon. Before each new update, Genshin Impact enters a beta phase that includes most of the upcoming content, such as new characters, weapons, and regions.
Even though Genshin Impact has yet to officially confirm the arrival of the long-awaited Skirk, recent beta leaks have all but confirmed that she will join the playable roster in the upcoming Version 5.7. Skirk won’t be the only new addition in this update, as players can also expect the arrival of a new four-star unit named Dahlia.
Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Exciting News for Natlan Fans in Version 5.7
A new Genshin Impact leak hints that Version 5.7 will bring exciting developments for fans of the popular Pyro nation, Natlan.
A new leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit from GI Kitchen has revealed Version 5.7 gameplay footage demonstrating how well Skirk performs in a team composition with Dahlia, Escoffier, and Furina. It should be noted that the damage numbers in the video may not be completely accurate, as it was taken on a beta server. Nonetheless, the footage proves that Skirk has great synergy with this squad and that her ideal support partner will likely be Escoffier. The Fontaine chef can enhance Skirk's potential to deal elemental damage, and many fans have claimed that even though they did not initially plan to pull for Escoffier, they will at least try to obtain her C0 version, as she appears to be the best character to pair with Skirk. While some fans hoped Skirk would introduce a new element to the game, recent gameplay leaks confirm that she will be a new Cryo user in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Leak Shows Skirk's Potential in Frozen Team
As shown in the video, this team composition revolves around triggering Frozen, a specific Genshin Impact elemental reaction that completely immobilizes enemies. Throughout the showcase, the enemy is barely able to move for more than a few seconds, which is why Frozen remains one of the easiest elemental reactions to build around. As usual, whenever a strong Hydro unit is required, Lady Furina remains the top choice.
The Fontaine Archon is still considered the best Hydro support in the game due to her ability to provide damage buffs and deploy her three Salon Members to deal damage even when she’s off the field. Some fans have suggested that this team could become even stronger if another support replaced Dahlia, but the video still serves as a great demonstration of her synergy with Skirk, especially since they will likely be featured on the same Genshin Impact banner.
Regarding their release date, fans can expect Skirk and Dahlia to appear in the first banner cycle of the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 5.7. According to HoYoverse’s usual schedule, this update should arrive around mid-June.
