A recent Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about the signature weapon of an upcoming character named Skirk, who is expected to arrive in the next update. Weapons play a major role in every character's build in Genshin Impact, and they can completely determine a character's role on the field.
With the release of each new five-star character, HoYoverse also introduces a signature weapon that perfectly fits that character's playstyle. These items are always placed on the Limited Weapon Banner, which runs alongside the character banner for approximately three weeks. As Genshin Impact Version 5.6 has arrived, players are eager to see what the next update will bring, as recent rumors suggest at least two new playable characters.

The new endgame for Genshin Impact could be coming sooner than expected, as recent datamining reveals what players can expect from the game mode.
Over the past few weeks, credible Genshin Impact leakers have revealed numerous details about Skirk, a character who has already appeared in the main storyline. Skirk was introduced as a mysterious figure tied to the Abyss and the person who taught Childe how to fight. Considering it’s highly unlikely that Genshin Impact will add a Harbinger to the roster during the current Natlan arc, Skirk has likely become one of the most anticipated characters alongside the Pyro Archon. The fact that she is getting a signature weapon is further proof that she will most likely have five-star rarity. According to a new leak revealed by Selee, Skirk’s signature weapon will be a powerful sword that focuses on ATK and CRIT stats.

Previous Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that Skirk’s Elemental Skill will allow her to enter a special state called Sevenfold Flash, and it will have both press and hold animations. Skirk’s Elemental Burst will not consume energy but will instead use stacks of Serpent’s Cunning, which explains one of the sword’s passive buffs.
Regarding her role on the field, Skirk is expected to be a DPS character in Genshin Impact who will rely on Cryo reactions. Many fans suspect she will have great synergy with Escoffier, a five-star character introduced in the current Genshin Impact Version 5.6.
