Geo is arguably the most underrated Element in Genshin Impact. Due to the lack of Elemental Reactions, Geo has to rely on pure, raw power to be viable in the meta of quick-swap and Elemental Reactions. Therefore, it's no surprise that newer Geo units are packed with high multipliers, leaving older characters behind in the tier list.
Both Xilonen and Chiori are some of the best Geo characters in Genshin Impact. However, when both are on the same banner and the budget allows to only pull for one character, a comparison must happen to determine who's better to get.
Genshin Impact Redeem Codes
Genshin Impact redeem codes commonly come with Primogems rewards that aid in players’ gacha experience.
Xilonen Or Chiori In Genshin Impact
Xilonen is an excellent Support in Genshin Impact who can also work as a Main DPS if required. She's worth getting if players don't have Kazuha or want a second Kazuha. Meanwhile, Chiori is a Sub-DPS who relies on her damage to help the team. She's a great character to get if players want to have a Geo off-field DPS and don't have characters like Albedo.
When it comes to Xilonen VS Chiori, one must compare their roles and build to decide which one is more suitable for you.

Basically, Chiori is a better Albedo who excels in off-field DPS. Her Elemental Skill summons up to two Tamoto dolls that deal DMG even when she’s not on the field. She also deals decent DMG with her Elemental Burst in Genshin Impact. Her best mechanic is how smooth and easy it is to switch to another character after she casts her Skill, which makes her a viable Sub-DPS to have in any team in need of Geo units.
On the other hand, Xilonen is amazing at one of two roles. She can either be a full Support or a main DPS who can deal significant DMG. If you choose to build her as a Support, Xilonen debuffs enemies around the active character, offering Supportive abilities that are very close to what Viridescent Venerer offers. She also heals and offers multiple other Supportive mechanics to her team. Meanwhile, as a main DPS, Xilonen can really maximize the potential of mono-Geo teams, but she won’t perform better than Navia, who's solely designed to be a DPS.

Chiori mostly depends on her Elemental Skill, which makes 4pc Golden Troupe a must-have for her. The set greatly amplifies her Skill DPS while Chiori easily triggers its conditions. You can also build Chiori with 4pc Husk of Opulent Dreams since she scales with DEF and Geo and this set grants her lots of that.
For Xilonen, she operates with two roles and each requires a certain build. If Xilonen is operating as a Support in Genshin Impact, it’s better to build her with Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City since it makes her Supportive abilities very close to Kazuha. As for the DPS build, 4pc Obsidian Codex is a great choice for any Natlan DPS since it synergizes with Nightsoul’s Blessing mechanics.
