Is Staff of Homa Worth It?

- Secondary Stats: 66.2% CRIT DMG
- Effect: HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8% of the wielder's Max HP. When the wielder's HP is less than 50%, this ATK bonus is increased by an additional 1% of Max HP.
Staff of Homa is a universal weapon in Genshin Impact. With its decent Base ATK and high CRIT DMG, Staff of Homa is a top-tier choice for any Polearm user looking to deal DMG. Staff of Homa also enjoys a great effect that further improves its wielder's performance by giving them 20% HP at R1 and an ATK bonus based on their total HP. This effect works perfectly on the likes of Hu Tao and Zhongli because of their HP scaling. Other characters like Cyno, Raiden Shogun, or Xiao can still highly benefit from Staff of Homa’s passive in Genshin Impact since they can take advantage of that extra ATK% bonus.

- Effect: HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not.
There’s a good reason why Aqua Simulacra is called the Staff of Homa of Bows in Genshin Impact. The weapon is extremely versatile when it comes to matching with the right Bow user. Just like Staff of Homa, any character that is willing to inflict some DMG can easily grab Aqua Simulacra and perform better. Characters like Yelan or Tighnari aren’t affected by the weapon’s low Base ATK since they depend on other stats to operate. Still, units like Genshin Impact Childe, Ganyu, and Yoimiya can perfectly operate with Aqua Simulacra because of its whopping 88% CRIT DMG buff.
