Pizza Hut reveals another collaboration will soon begin with Genshin Impact, bringing specially designed pizza boxes to locations outside of China for the very first time. Genshin Impact fans who are able to participate in the new Pizza Hut collaboration may earn additional bonuses with their order.This past April, HoYoverse revealed Genshin Impact and Pizza Hut would work together to offer special merchandise with eligible orders in China. These orders would include banners, drink cups, and pizza boxes depicting Genshin Impact's Yelan and Ningguang. For a limited time, Genshin Impact fans in China could also purchase notebooks, metal bookmarks, and other merchandise with their Pizza Hut order. Several Genshin Impact collaborations would remain exclusive to China, but the next collaboration with Pizza Hut will enter Japan for the first time. The official Pizza Hut Japan Twitter account reveals the collaboration between the fast food chain and Genshin Impact is coming to Japan on May 9. Customers may receive a pizza box featuring illustrations of Yelan and Ningguang in stylish outfits until June 18. Additionally, all orders of the Pizza Hut My Box Set include a promo code for two crafting recipes, a Mint Fruit Tea recipe, and a Super Deluxe Pizza recipe. Japanese Genshin Impact fans may also add a multipurpose file depicting Yelan or Ningguang to their order for 200 yen, which is roughly $2.
The Yelan and Ningguang multipurpose files will be available while supplies last during Pizza Hut's collaboration with Genshin Impact in Japan. Further, My Box Set quantities are limited per each participating Pizza Hut location during the collaboration period. Unfortunately, Pizza Hut does not confirm whether the collaboration will head to the U.S. And other countries outside of China and Japan. The collaboration will likely remain in those regions just like Genshin Impact's KFC promotion.
Genshin Impact is very popular in China and Japan, and the new Pizza Hut collaboration is already spreading positive word of mouth among millions of fans on social media. Pizza Hut's new collaboration does not appear to be heading over to the West, but Genshin Impact players may still look forward to exciting new content in future updates. The possibility for more collaborations remains high with partners such as Razer supporting Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail with merchandise and special events as well.
Before the Pizza Hut collaboration begins on May 9, Genshin Impact will introduce playable Dendro character Baizhu this week alongside more in-game events. Leaks suggest a slew of content is currently being developed for the Fontaine region, which is expected to arrive in a major 4.0 update in the future.
Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
