Genshin Impact has officially confirmed the seven items that will appear on the upcoming weapon banner for the second part of update 3.3. Previous announcements have already confirmed that the banner will bring re-runs for two popular characters, Kamisato Ayato and Raiden Shogun.

Genshin Impact updates are usually divided into two cycles, each of which lasts around 3-4 weeks, and it includes a different set of limited characters and weapons. Weapon banners almost always include two five-star and five four-star items, one for each weapon type in the game.

Four-star weapons are much easier to acquire as they can be also dropped by the character banner. Weapons are probably the most important part of each character's build alongside artifact sets, which cannot be acquired by pulling on any banners. Unlike the current update cycle which introduced the catalyst Tullaytullah’s Remembrance and a sword named Floral Rainfall, the next banner won't be adding any new weapons to the game. According to the Genshin Impact's official announcement, players will have the option to pull for the following weapons:

  • Haran Geppaku Futsu - five-star sword
  • Engulfing Lightning - five-star polearm
  • Akuoumaru - four-star claymore
  • Lion's Roar - four-star sword
  • Sacrificial Fragments - four-star catalyst
  • Favonius Lance - four-star polearm
  • Mouun's Moon - four-star bow

HoYoverse did not surprise with its two five-star item choices since they serve signature weapons for Ayato and Raiden Shogun. Haran Geppaku Futsu is a great five-star sword that gives a great buff to the characters' elemental damage. This also makes it a great fit for Ayato's sister, Kamisato Ayaka, who is considered one of the best DPS characters in Genshin Impact.

The second five-star item, Engulfing Lightning, is the go-to weapon for the Electro Archon, who is one of the rare polearm users whose damage scales with Energy Recharge. The weapon's passive increases the holder's Attack by 28% of their excessive Energy Recharge, and it provides a 30% ER buff for 12 seconds after using an Elemental Burst. Players who want to pull for Raiden Shogun should definitely try to add this weapon to their arsenal.

A lot of fans seem to be satisfied with the five four-star weapons that are part of this lineup. The claymore Akuoumaru gets rarely featured on a weapon banner, but it's a great choice for supportive or sub-DPS characters like Chongyun or DIluc thanks to its ability to increase Elemental Burst damage.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
