A Genshin Impact player is pointing out a major flaw with a new event in Version 5.8, suggesting one group of players will have a tougher time than others. The massively popular HoYoverse RPG has featured a wide variety of different events for players to enjoy, with a plethora of different mini-games. Genshin Impact has featured everything from combat challenges and platforming missions to a fully playable rhythm game within the RPG featuring some of its most popular songs. However, one new event is now sparking some issues with one particular group of fans.
Genshin Impact's recent Version 5.8 introduced the newest iteration of the game's annual summer event. "Sunspray Summer Resort" whisks players away to the Easybreeze Summer Resort, bringing some fan-favorite characters like Bennett, Mualani, and Citlali along for the ride among others. Much like previous summer events, Sunspray Summer Resort also features a variety of mini-games for players to take part in, with target shooting, a turret defense game, and even rhythm-based combat challenges. Now, Genshin Impact's newest event has caused some issues with colorblind fans.
Genshin Impact Leak Teases Free 5-Star Character for Version 6.0
A new Genshin Impact leak emerges within the community, suggesting that players will receive a free 5-Star character during Version 6.0.
A new post shared by Reddit user terminiels is pointing out a major issue with one of Genshin Impact's newest events. The "With Flying (Graffiti) Colors" mini-game is the subject of the post, with the fan pointing out that the event is made unintentionally more difficult for players with color blindness. The Genshin Impact event tasks players with coloring different balloons to line up three of the same color, with the user suggesting that the blue and purple balloons, as well as yellow and green, are hard to distinguish due to their color blindness. The fan also points out that previous events had suffered from similar issues as well.
Genshin Impact Fans Point Out Major Issue With New Event
The issue with Genshin Impact's newest event saw other fans chiming in on the problem, as well as some alternative solutions. Several fans pointed out a setting that the player could use with Nvidia graphics cards, offering specialized options for colorblind players to resolve the issue. One fan also linked a YouTube guide made for the event, pointing out the specific balloons that Genshin Impact players need to shoot to complete the event. A fan also pointed out that players could use the feedback system to bring the issue up to HoYoverse.
Genshin Impact's newest update brought a variety of content to the game beyond its flagship event. HoYoverse added one new character to the game as part of Version 5.8, with Ineffa coming as the first playable character to hail from Nod-Krai. The Genshin Impact event also introduced the first section of a long-rumored area in Teyvat, with a small portion of the Mare Jivari able to be explored. Genshin Impact's Version 5.8 update looks to send Natlan off with a bang with lots for fans to do throughout the patch.
