How To Trigger An Expected Plan In Genshin Impact
To trigger An Expected Plan World Quest in Genshin Impact, players must first complete the Fontaine Research Institute Chronicles Quest. Once it’s completed, head to Lumidouce Harbor and speak with the woman wearing glasses named ??? To trigger An Expected Plan.
After Fusilier and Raimondo insist on the importance of getting rid of the Arkhium Kinetic Core, as the unstable prototype can release a surge of Arkhium that will affect everything around it, players need to use the elevator to reach the lower floor where they will find two suspicious people. Defeat Chaussivert, who later explains that it was a misunderstanding and invites players to his ship. Get to his ship and set sail in search of Covault in the Rusty Rudder.
Where To Find Covault In The Rusty Rudder
Upon arriving at the Genshin Impact Rusty Rudder, which is a tavern, players must find Covault. He is one of the many Drunkards, so Travelers need to speak to each one until the culprit is found. It’s possible to speak with the Tavern’s owner, Pitot, to find Covault faster.
Eventually, Covault is found west of the Tavern lying on the grass with the name Drunkard <Looks Like a Baddie>. Chaussivert and the players fight him, then drag Covault to the ship, where they question the Drunkard. Turns out he was the one who escorted Nacker and was told to keep quiet. After a lot of threatening, Covault takes players to the drop location, which turns out to be an ambush since Fusilier’s device can’t sense any energy. Defeat the enemies in Genshin Impact and return to the ship to knock some sense into the Drunkard and figure out what really happened.
What Are Those Behind The Scenes Hiding?
After extracting more information from Covault, players need to figure out what are those behind the scenes hiding in Genshin Impact. First, interpret these three thoughts:
- The major buyer from Snezhnaya.
- The transporter Nacker.
- Chaussivert, the Shadow over Lumidouce Harbor.
After that, associate these thoughts together to get new conclusions in Genshin Impact:
- Associate: The transporter Nacker and Loillier’s Boss.
- Result: Nacker and Concini.
Interpret the result and submit it as the conclusion to reveal the truth. After some more investigation on Chaussivert's part, Travelers can now travel to the next location.
Upon arriving at the marked location, follow the two couriers stealthily and ambush them at their camp. Defeat the Treasure Hoarders in Genshin Impact and keep following the marker on the map to reach the shipment’s delivery point.
Eventually, the party arrives at a house where the supposedly dead Edwin emerges. After a short conversation, players get a map of Nacker’s location, and An Expected Plan World Quest in Genshin Impact is completed. The rewards are 40

How To Open The Sealed Door (An Expected Lie Quest In Genshin Impact)
An Expected Lie World Quest is immediately triggered upon completing An Expected Plan. After leaving Edwin’s house, head to the southern shore of Fort Charybdis Ruins and follow the energy flow further into the water. Dive underwater and swim down to find a ruin with a sealed door.
To open the sealed door, borrowing the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus abilities is necessary. First, use a normal attack on the orange crystal to activate the door mechanism. Next, aim at the Feather Valve and use the Octopus’ charge attack to move the square to the other side of the door. Before the key square moves up again, quickly release the Valve and attack the crystal to lock the key in place, thus opening the sealed door.
Where To Find Nacker In Genshin Impact
After unlocking the sealed door, proceed inside the ruins to stumble upon a Genshin Impact boss called Server-Type Gev003. Shortly after defeating it, Nacker appears on the upper floor, where players must also defeat him.
Once the second fight is over, the party will return to Edwin’s house, where Fusilier decides to take both Edwin and Nacker back to the Institute to deal with them. The final step is to visit the new Research Institute, where Raimondo decides the two former researchers' fate. Completing An Expected Lie rewards A Predictable Ending Achievement in Genshin Impact, 40 Primogems, and other valuable rewards.
