Genshin Impact is a game with a massive number of achievements, and earning these achievements will provide players with Primogems, the premium currency of the game. However, of the over 900 achievements currently in the game, a large chunk of them are hidden from the player until they have been earned. One of them is called "Oh, the Humanity!" And completing all the steps to earn it will result in quite a few Primos.
Upon completing Genshin Impact's Archon Quest "Act II, Chapter II: Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow," players will find themselves on Nazuchi Beach, a path of beach that connects Kannazuka and Yashiori Island in the Inazuma region. From here, players are likely to begin exploring the nearby shipwreck, which will automatically begin the world quest "Fate of a Fighter." What players may not be aware of is that this quest marks the first step in unlocking the hidden exploration achievement, "Oh, the Humanity!" This achievement is located under the "Wonders of the World" achievement menu, and unlocking it will award the player with 5 Primogems, as well as actually complete the "Fate of a Fighter" quest, awarding an extra 40 Primogems and character EXP materials.
Step 1: Complete the Genshin Impact world quest "Fate of the Fighter."
As mentioned previously, completing the first part of the "Fate of the Fighter" world quest is mandatory for unlocking the hidden "Oh, the Humanity!" Achievement. If players do not currently have this world quest, that means they have either not finished "Act II, Chapter II" of the Inazuma Archon Quest, have not explored the shipwreck on Nazuchi Beach, or have already completed this phase of the quest.
Unfortunately, Genshin Impact does not make it clear that this part of the quest is actually only one of two parts, so having this done already is potentially normal for veteran players and does not necessarily mean the player should have already received the achievement. If the player has not already finished the "Fate of the Fighter" world quest, it is not a particularly long world quest, and it has a very interesting story to tell.
Here is a quick walkthrough of the "Fate of the Fighter" world quest:
- If the quest is not already unlocked, the player should head to the teleport located at the very tip of Nazuchi Beach, directly east of the shipwreck (which can be seen on the map). From the teleport, head towards the shipwreck and clear it of all enemies. Players should be prepared to fight various forms of Nobushi and Kairagi enemies throughout this world quest.
- Once the shipwreck has been cleared of enemies, players should climb up the ship and speak to the NPC named "Inaba Kyuuzou." Inaba Kyuuzou can be located standing on the more in-tact part of the wreck, looking down at the destruction. There are a few avenues for exploration on this shipwreck, including chests to open, so players should keep an eye on their surroundings.
- Inaba Kyuuzou will task the player with clearing out a pirate camp, which will be marked on the map. Once again, the player should be prepared to fight Nobushi and Kairagi enemies and should seek out the puzzles and exploration near the pirate camp for extra exploration progress and Primogem rewards.
- After clearing out the pirate camp, the player will be asked to provide Inaba with 12 Naku Weeds. Naku Weeds can be found throughout Inazuma, and the player may potentially already have enough to complete this step.
- Finally, use the wait feature to skip to the next in-game day, and speak to Inaba Kyuuzou once more to end this phase of the "Fate of the Fighter" world quest.
Step 2: Clear out nearby Nobushi and Kairagi enemy camps.
Once the player has completed the first phase of the "Fate of the Fighter" world quest, Genshin Impact will act as though you have finished everything there is to do here, and the quest will disappear. However, this begins the hidden portion of the quest, as new groups of enemy Nobushi and Kairagi will spawn at various points of Nazuchi Beach. These enemies should stand out to the player, as they will lack the black smoke effects that typical Nobushi and Kairagi enemies have. The player should clear out all of these enemies, which are marked on the map provided above.
Step 3: Return to Inaba Kyuuzou.
Once the player has cleared out the four new encampments of Nobushi and Kairagi enemies, the "Fate of the Fighter" quest will once again appear and activate. At this point of the quest, the player should return to the top of the shipwreck where Inaba Kyuuzou was first encountered. However, Inaba Kyuuzou will no longer be there. The player needs to collect the letter that is now sitting where Inaba once stood, titled "Inaba Tousaburou Kyuuzou's Final Words."
Step 4: Defeat the Kairagi of Serpent's Head.
Upon collecting this letter, the player should make their way to the teleport waypoint at Serpent's Head on Yashiori Island, directly east of the Maguu Kenki boss fight. From this teleport location, the player should head directly south up the hill until they reach the end, and then glide down to the small plateau beneath that houses a tree, tents, and three enemy Kairagi. The player can then defeat the three Kairagi, and upon victory, will be awarded the "Oh, the Humanity!" Achievement and the actual completion of the "Fate of the Fighter" world quest.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
