A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed tons of details about a new game mode that will arrive in the upcoming Version 5.7. Since Genshin Impact's release back in 2020, players have been asking for new permanent game modes that will keep them occupied once they finish the new content that arrives with every update.
The most popular domain in the game is probably the Spiral Abyss, which has players battle through 12 different levels, also known as floors, each much harder than the previous one. Over the last couple of weeks, rumors have suggested that Genshin Impact will add a similar permanent game mode in the upcoming months.
Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Skirk's Signature Weapon
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals the signature weapon for the upcoming five-star character Skirk, who is expected to arrive in update 5.7.
A credible leaker named Team Mew has finally revealed more details about a new game mode called Purging Rebellious Calamity, which should may arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 5.7. According to the leak, at the start of the challenge, players will need to choose a difficulty level, and more Ley Line Disorders will appear with higher difficulty, making the enemies much harder to beat. If players manage to beat a higher difficulty challenge, they will receive rewards for that difficulty and all the lower levels. This means that players won't have to battle their way through all of the levels. Once they enter the challenge, players will need to complete three consecutive battles, and defeating all enemies across the three stages will count as completing the challenge.
Genshin Impact Leaks Details About New Permanent Game Mode
The leak also revealed that for the first 10 days after the challenge starts, Chaotic Ley Line points will be in a "bursting state." Players with AR 45 and above who complete the challenge on Dire difficulty or higher can use their Resin to activate a special Chaotic Ley Line Blossom and have their rewards multiplied. Many players are praising HoYoverse for granting rewards for multiple lower levels if a higher difficulty challenge is completed, especially considering that the rewards can be tied to Resin in Genshin Impact.
Some people are still wondering how the enemy lineup will reset in this new challenge and hope that it will overlap with the Spiral Abyss. This domain used to reset twice a month, but with the arrival of other permanent game modes such as Genshin Impact's Imaginarium Theater, the number of resets was reduced to once a month.
