A recent teaser trailer for Genshin Impact has given fans their first hint about what the map for the game's newest upcoming region of Natlan will look like. With less than two months remaining until the expected launch date of the Natlan region, HoYoverse has given fans plenty of reasons to be excited. The Version 4.7 Special Program gave fans their first in-game look at Natlan, showing off the new mounts and some of the wildlife found throughout the region. Now, the newest trailer takes players even further into the new region, showing off Natlan and its characters.
The newest teaser for the Natlan region featured a first look at the cast of characters players will meet in Genshin Impact's next locale. Three different characters appeared throughout the short video, showing off a short girl utilizing a vehicle, a white-haired girl fishing in a pond, and a black-haired boy using a Claymore. No names or details were given about the mystery Natlan characters, but fans are already expecting the three to be available during Genshin Impact's Version 5.0 update. However, fans have also discovered a major hint about Natlan's layout.
Alongside the new characters, Genshin Impact's newest teaser trailer unveiled the first hints about the Natlan region's map. Throughout the mountainous paths found in the Natlan map teaser, many fans have pointed out one particular structure missing from the early map. The initial reveal of Natlan's map does not appear to feature Natlan's capital city, instead focusing on the wilderness found throughout the region. Previous in-game dialogue has hinted at the presence of a variety of hot springs in Natlan, while the first Natlan teaser showcased a volcano environment. Natlan will release with Genshin Impact's Version 5.0 update, currently expected to debut in late August.
