After months of speculation, it seems HoYoverse will introduce a character who has been mentioned in numerous leaks over the past few months, though he will arrive in a way that many might not have expected.

A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed an intriguing character model apparently tied to Xbalanque, the first Pyro Archon of Natlan. Xbalanque was one of the first characters rumored to arrive in Natlan. He was first mentioned in Neuvillette's official introduction, which stated that Xbalanque killed the Pyro Dragon Sovereign, also known as Xiuhcatl, and returned from the battle to become the first Pyro Archon in Genshin Impact. While many fans seem very excited about this model reveal, the leaker has pointed out that this might not represent Xbalanque's true form. The model shown in the post will reportedly belong to another NPC who will be possessed by Xbalanque's powers.
Genshin Impact: Could Xbalanque Become a Playable Character?
