Natlan characters are unique compared to the units released before Genshin Impact 5.0, mostly because of their mobility skills. Natlan character's mobility makes up for what they can do in combat, like how Kachina's "ride" is the one dealing damage for her.

Mualani can be Supportive by granting her team a small amount of healing every time she casts her Elemental Burst on top of regenerating a small amount of Energy for herself too. The 4-star F2P Catalyst grants Mualani 41% HP, which is good for her DMG.
5 The Widsith
- Main Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Sub-Stat: 55.1% Crit DMG
- R5 Effect: When a character takes the field, they will gain a random theme song for 10s. This can only occur once every 30s. Recitative: ATK is increased by 120%. Aria: Increases all Elemental DMG by 96%. Interlude: Elemental Mastery is increased by 480.
Mualani can benefit from two out of three of Widsith’s passives in Genshin Impact. When Mualani gets on-field while wielding 
The Widsith, she either gets a huge Elemental DMG buff, a huge Elemental Mastery buff, or a huge ATK% buff. Since she depends on her HP to inflict DMG, you don’t want the Recitative theme song to play. Other than that, The Widsith is a good choice for Mualani, especially because of its 55.1% Crit DMG Sub-stat.
4 Ring of Yaxche
- Main Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Sub-Stat: 41.3% HP
- R5 Effect: Using an Elemental Skill grants the Jade-Forged Crown effect: Every 1,000 Max HP will increase the Normal Attack DMG dealt by the equipping character by 1% for 10s. Normal Attack DMG can be increased this way by a maximum of 32%.
Ring of Yaxche is one of the best weapons for Mualani in Genshin Impact. The 4-star weapon adds an extra 41% HP for Mualani while increasing her Normal Attack DMG by up to 32%. Stack as much as Crit DMG as possible and Mualani can still be unstoppable, even with a 4-star weapon in Genshin Impact.
3 Sacrificial Jade
- Main Stat: 454 Base ATK
- Sub-Stat: 36.8% Crit Rate
- R5 Effect: When not on the field for more than 5s, Max HP will be increased by 64% and Elemental Mastery will be increased by 80. These effects will be canceled after the wielder has been on the field for 10s.

Sacrificial Jade offers a 36% Crit Rate, which Mualani doesn’t really need since she already gets 40% from her best artifacts. Add a couple of Crit Rates from her artifacts’ sub-stats, and she can easily cross the 100%. If you give her Sacrificial Jade, it’s crucial to build her with artifacts like Heart of Depth. It’s also important to make sure Mualani stays off-field for over five seconds during the team’s rotation to make sure she gets Sacrificial Jade’s buff. After bypassing all these limitations, giving Mualani 64% HP with 80 Elemental Mastery is insane for her Vaporize DMG.
2 Tome of the Eternal Flow
- Main Stat: 565 Base ATK
- Sub-Stat: 88.2% Crit DMG
- Effect: HP is increased by 16%. When current HP increases or decreases, Charged Attack DMG will be increased by 14% for 4s. Max 3 stacks, can be triggered once every 0.3s. When you have 3 stacks or refresh a third stack's duration, 8 Energy will be restored. This Energy restoration effect can be triggered once every 12s.
Tome of the Eternal Flow is a perfect weapon for Neuvillette in Genshin Impact since it massively buff his Charged Attack DMG. As for Mualani, the 5-star weapon works more as a stat stick for her since it grants her 88% Crit DMG with 16% HP while the rest of the passive don’t work with her kit.

- Main Stat: 565 Base ATK
- Sub-Stat: 88.2% Crit DMG
- Effect: Max HP increased by 20%. Once every 15s, for the 14s after using an Elemental Skill: Gain 4 Scorching Summer stacks. Each stack increases Normal Attack DMG by 12%. For the duration of the effect, every 1.5s, lose 1 stack after a Normal Attack hits an opponent; once every 1.5s, gain 1 stack after triggering a Vaporize reaction on an opponent. Max 4 Scorching Summer stacks.
