A Genshin Impact chart shows which characters have been used the most in the ongoing phase 2 of the 4.0 Spiral Abyss. This unique domain resets twice a month, and it's widely considered the hardest piece of end-game content as it often requires players to use their strongest team composition.
Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss consists of 12 levels, also known as Floors, with each one much harder than the previous one. Every floor has multiple chambers which means that Travelers usually need to have a sizable character roster at their disposal. The Abyss resets occur twice a month which allows players to collect new rewards approximately every 2 weeks.
A Reddit user named WakuWakuWa has revealed the usage rates for the second version of the Spiral Abyss in update 4.0. According to the chart, the most popular character overall is the four-star Pyro user Bennett who is by many considered one of the best supports in the game at the moment. Despite his four-star rarity, Bennett's kit is stacked as he can provide one of the most powerful heals in the game that can also increase his team members' ATK. The fact that he has a lower rarity means that Travelers can acquire his constellations much easier. However, many players still avoid getting him to C6 since it can significantly limit his flexibility which is one of Bennett's main assets.
The second character on the list with a 79.6% usage rate is the Hydro bow user Yelan who can deal tons of damage, even when she gets swapped out. This is the main reason why players usually use Yelan in the sub-DPS or support role. Players who want to add her to their team composition will have to wait a couple of months since she was recently featured on a Limited Character Banner.
Yelan is closely followed by the Anemo support Kaedehara Kazuha who has a 79.2% usage rate at the moment. Kazuha is probably the best neutral support in Genshin Impact since his Anemo element cannot interfere with other elemental reactions. Unlike Bennett, Kazuha's kit does not provide healing, but he can shred the enemies' resistances and buff his whole party.
Nahida is the first Archon to appear on the list, and she has become a must-have character for players who want to use team comps that rely on the Dendro element. At the moment, the Sumeru Archon is by far the best Dendro support since her elemental application cannot be matched by any other Dendro user in the game.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
